Committing to being an admirer of certain arts and making the world safe for creativity

Idea from me:
What we love to consume does not always translate to what we love to create. Committing to being strictly an admirer of a certain kind of art is a helpful choice in narrowing down our own artistic focus. Not only is any pressure to compete removed, we can also bring a specific perspective of inspiration when we pull from art outside of our own field of creation.
Quote from another:
NASA Astronaut Edgar Mitchell on making the world safe for creativity:
“We need to make the world safe for creativity and intuition, for it’s creativity and intuition that will make the world safe for us.”
Prompt for you:
Create a T-list. In one column, write out the types of art (pop music, comedy films, poetry, etc.) that you like to consume. In the other column, write out the types of art that you like to create.
Which consume-only arts stand out the most to you? Are there any arts on both lists that you feel unsure about?
