Sharing the same thoughts as your artistic idols and the importance of boundaries
10/15/25
Idea from me:
Trust that the artists who you idolize had as much imposter’s syndrome as you do now. This kind of insecurity and negative self talk might be the most universal of all creative people. So when you have the thought, “I don’t know what the hell I am doing,” know that you’re sharing the same thinking as geniuses in the past.
Quote from another:
SNL creator Lorne Michaels on the importance of boundaries:
“To me there’s no creativity without boundaries. If you’re gonna write a sonnet, it’s 14 lines, so it’s solving the problem within the container“
Prompt for you:
Watch an interview of an artist you love. What is one takeaway of their process, their view on creativity, etc. that you can bring into your own work?

Thanks for being an inspiration to a fellow ME/CFS creative.
